In 2009 the rules governing who can be married in a Church of England church were changed. Anyone who is single and has a qualifying connection with the parish can be married here.   

The qualifying criteria are: 

• baptised in the parish (by a Church of England service/form of baptism)   
• confirmed (by a Church of England service) and the confirmation is entered in our confirmation register   
• your parent or grandparent was married in this parish 
• your usual place of residence was in the parish for at least 6 months.                 
• your parent has had his or her usual place of residence in the parish for at least 6 months during your lifetime.  
• you have habitually attended public worship at this church for at least 6 months.   
• your parent has habitually attended public worship at this church for at least 6 months during your lifetime

Fees for 2024 are £1025 for a basic wedding plus £80 if you want the choir and £155 if you want the bells. (These are both optional).
